Jenkins missing build history but not stage view after migration

moving + upgrading Jenkins to new server (2.401.3) by copying everything from JENKINS_HOME. However, "Build History" is empty but not "Stage View". I am still able to click/access/read old builds from "Stage View". Any pointers what I have done wrong?

尝试点击“趋势”右侧的箭头图标，实际上在Jenkins UI面板中尝试渲染“构建历史”。向下的箭头表示列表已显示，向上的箭头表示列表已隐藏，就像你的截图中一样。
将鼠标悬停在“构建历史”左侧的云图标上，也可以显示状态。

Try clicking the arrow icon to right of 'trend' to actually try render the "Build History" in the jenkins UI panel. Downward arrow represents list shown, upward means list hidden like in your screenshot.
Hovering over the cloud icon to left of 'Build History' should reveal status as well.
